It’s not anything new. Promo sites are all over Facebook, but I really wanted to make my own because I have books I want to promo. And I want a safe space for everyone to discuss the books that mean something to them.
Not everyone has the same tastes. For example, I had no idea where reading MM romance would lead me. I didn’t know that I would have a soft spot for puppy play. Or Daddy/boy romance. Any Daddy/boy from light D/s to ABDL. I love the caring a Daddy Dom does for his boy. I also realize that not everyone likes that. Someone who wasn’t familiar might think Daddy/boy crosses a moral line. It’s nowhere near pedophilia as some assume. Both men are of consenting age and the age play is more about caring for someone’s every need.
I also found out I’m not into breath play or scat/golden shower scenes. That doesn’t mean I judge those who like to read about (or participate in) those activities. My group will not allow kink-shaming. Someone doesn’t like a book because the kink is not appealing to them – scroll on! It’s that simple. I plan on starting a file with books for different kinks listed in separate folders. I want everyone to feel welcome.
Some readers love stories on a paranormal plane, some would rather it be real life. Some LOVE mPreg, other never want to read about men getting pregnant. Although I will admit I love it! Reading twinscest is way over the line for some, but others love that taboo.
What I’m saying is, Rosie’s Rainbows Promos and Reviews is a place for everyone. You can stop by and find new books to read or discuss the books you love. Help someone find a book that they’ll love too!
